Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 9 April 2026
Our commitment
Outlain is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure throughout the platform
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
- Colour contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA standards
- Dark mode and light mode for visual comfort
- Responsive design for all screen sizes
- Text-based content that works with screen readers
Known limitations
As a platform in active development, some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Known limitations include:
- Some dynamically generated AI content may not have full ARIA annotations
- The spec generation progress modal uses real-time streaming that may not be fully accessible to screen readers
- Third-party components (payment checkout, authentication) follow their own accessibility standards
